The Future of Real Estate in the Eastern Sierra

The Eastern Sierra real estate market is in the middle of a slow, real change — not a bubble, but a shift in who's buying, what they want, and what land here is actually worth.
More people are willing to live full-time in places like Bishop because remote work made it possible. That's pushed prices up, but it's also brought new energy, new businesses, and new demands on housing and infrastructure. Both Inyo and Mono County are wrestling with how to grow without losing what makes them special.
If you're buying: be patient, get your title and water questions answered, and don't fall in love with a property before you understand what comes with it. If you're selling: honest pricing and clean records win. The buyers in this market do their homework.
I think the next decade in the Eastern Sierra is going to be one of the most interesting in its history. My job is to help people navigate it honestly — whether you're buying your first cabin or selling a piece of family land that's been here for generations.
