From Minecraft to Real Estate: The Entrepreneurship Throughline

On paper, running Minecraft servers and running a title business don't have much in common. But the longer I do this, the more I see that they're the same job wearing different clothes.
The throughline is service. In gaming, my job was to build a place people wanted to spend time and keep it running smoothly so they'd trust it. In real estate, my job is to make sure a transaction is clean so people can trust the biggest purchase of their lives. Different settings, same core: do the unglamorous work, be consistent, and earn trust over time.
The other throughline is curiosity. Every deal, every server, every history project starts with me wanting to understand how something actually works. That curiosity is the only reason I've been able to jump between such different worlds.
If you're early in your career and worried that your path looks scattered, don't be. The skills transfer even when the job titles don't. Find the throughline and follow it.
